Boone Health to hold ribbon-cutting for new Glasgow clinic

New clinic will expand critically needed rural health care and includes X-ray suite

WHAT:                Boone Health leaders and representatives from the Boone Health Foundation and the city of Glasgow, MO, will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new clinic in Glasgow.

                                The clinic was made possible through a generous donation by the Boone Health Foundation and through key partnerships with the city of Glasgow. The clinic will provide space for an additional provider and sports a critical X-ray suite. Previously, patients had to drive between 30 and 60 minutes for an X-ray, depending on the time of day.

  • Brady Dubois, president and CEO of Boone Health
  • Valerie Ninichuck, president of Boone Health Foundation
  • Donald Clear, mayor of Glasgow
  • Melinda Hart, nurse practitioner and clinic manager

NOTE:                 Access to health care is dire in some areas of the state. Serving 26 counties in mid-Missouri. The new clinic will provide additional access with more providers and an X-ray machine, which has not been available prior.
