Associate Degree in Nursing
The Associates Degree in Nursing program is provided through Moberly Area Community College (MACC). This program provides a combination of subject matter and clinical experiences designed to prepare you to provide high-quality, safe, effective, patient-centered care to individuals or groups of individuals with well-defined health problems.
After graduating from the ADN program, you can function as a manager of patient care under the direct or indirect supervision of a more experienced professional nurse and assume some responsibility for guidance of the skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled members of the nursing team.
Applications are accepted in March and September.
Classes
- Classes are offered in-person at the Moberly campus
Prerequisites
- TEAS Test score of 58% or better
- Cumulative grade point average of 2.7 or better
- The program requires MTH140 or higher. If the math requirement is not met prior to entry, you must have a placement score or assessment measure that places you directly into MTH140 or higher, passed MTH042 with a “C” or higher, or have completed MTH095 or equivalent.
- A grade of “C” or better must be obtained in all required courses.
MACC also offers a Virtual Associates Degree in Nursing that qualifies for the scholarship as well.
