Tareq M Abu-Salah, MD

Dr. Abu-Salah was born and raised in Kuwait. He attended medical school at the University of Jordan, then moved to the U.S. to complete his medical training. He attended Texas Tech University for his internship, the University of Iowa for residency, the University of Missouri for his Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship, and the Mayo Clinic for his Sleep Medicine fellowship. Dr. Abu-Salah is now Boone Hospital Center’s Director of Pulmonary Medicine.

Dr. Abu-Salah is board-certified in internal medicine, critical care, sleep and pulmonary medicine. His clinical interests include treating sleep disorders, pleural diseases, bronchoscopy and lung cancer. His role at Boone Hospital includes the management of critically ill medical and surgical patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
