Andrew J Getzoff, MD

Dr. Getzoff has been a Boone Hospital Radiologist since 2008. During his time at Boone, he has served in various roles of the Hospital’s Medical Staff including a two year term as  Chief Medical Officer  from January 2019 to December 2020.

Prior to joining the Boone Health staff, Dr. Getzoff practiced interventional radiology for seven years in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Dr. Getzoff received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee School of Medicine, after completing a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri.  Dr. Getzoff’s internship (internal medicine), radiology residency and fellowship in neuroradiology were completed at the University of Washington.  In 2002 he earned additional certification in neuroradiology  by the American Board of Radiology.  As a board certified neuroradiologist, Dr. Getzoff specializes in stroke rescue and cerebral aneurysm embolization procedures.   Dr. Getzoff is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology.

When time allows, Dr. Getzoff enjoys spending time with his family and traveling to new and interesting places!
