Kate L Grossman, MD

Dr. Grossman was raised in Rockville Centre, NY. She attended Duke University as an undergraduate and State University of New York – Downstate Medical Center for her medical degree. She completed both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residency at the University of Chicago followed by Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine (although she is no longer a practicing Pediatrician).

Her clinical interests include bronchoscopy, pleural disease and a variety of general lung diseases including lung cancer, COPD/emphysema, asthma, pulmonary infections, interstitial lung disease and smoking cessation. Dr. Grossman also attends in the Intensive Care Unit as a Critical Care physician at Boone where her interests are in sepsis and point-of-care ultrasonography.
