Mary Rasmy Azer Mikhael, MD

Dr. Mikhael received her medical degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. She completed residencies in clinical pathology and immunology, while also completing a master’s degree in those areas.

Later, she moved to Missouri to complete a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Missouri. She also served as assistant professor of internal medicine at MU before joining Boone Health.

She is credential with the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Rheumatology. She specializes in the following areas:

• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Psoriatic arthritis
• Spondyloarthritis
• Crystalline arthritis
• Connective tissue diseases, including systemic lupus erythematous, systemic sclerosis, and Sjogren’s syndrome.
• Vasculitis
• Osteoporosis
