Elizabeth A Wilson, MD

Dr. Elizabeth Wilson is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

She received her medical degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Medicine in 1995 and also completed her residency at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics.

She joined Women’s Health Associates after completing residency. Dr. Wilson is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Missouri State Medical Association. She enjoys general obstetrics and delivering babies! In her quest to better understand whole body hormonal balance, she has benefited from attending conferences sponsored by The Institute of Functional Medicine and by the American Association of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Wilson believes that individualized health education can be more powerful than prescriptions, and she spends a good deal of time engaging in this as well as searching for helpful resources for her patients.

Dr. Wilson has been married for over 30 years. She and her husband raised two sons, West and Henry Boone, in Columbia. Her boys now live in New York City and Chicago respectively, and she adores visiting them. Her husband, Bruce, is retired from teaching high school social studies and now raises cattle and trains ranch horses. Dr. Wilson enjoys cooking, reading, attending the True False Film Festival/movies at Rag Tag Cinema, yoga and Pure Barre, amateur gardening, and she never tires of traveling nor trying new restaurants.
