Our team members’ financial health is very important to us. That’s why we offer a 401k offering with an employer match of 100% up to the first 6%. Boone Health also offers numerous investment options through Empower.
401(k) Plan
The sooner you start saving, the better your financial future will be. Boone Health offers several retirement plans options.
Features of the Boone Health 401(k) Plan:
- The contributions you select are automatically deducted from your paycheck on a pre-tax basis
- ROTH option: contribute to your retirement account on an after-tax
- Investment choices include Target Date funds that automatically adjust your investments as you age
- You may rollover money from a prior employer’s eligible retirement plan
- The plan has a three-year cliff vesting schedule (meaning you must work 3 years to receive the employer matching)
- You may contribute a maximum of $23,500 in 2025
- If you are 50 or older, additional catch-up contributions of $7,500 are permitted for a maximum contribution of $31,000 in 2025
- You may change your contribution percentage at any time by logging into your Empower account or by contacting Empower directly
Enrolling
Boone Health uses automatic enrollment in the Boone Health 401(k) Plan. New hires are automatically enrolled with a 4 percent contribution rate, unless they take action to reduce, or increase this contribution, or opt out.
If you are not currently enrolled, you have two different ways to enroll:
- Enroll on the Empower website. Follow the prompts on the I don’t have a PIN tab to enter your personal information and create a username and password.
- Call Empower at 866-467-7756. Empower representatives are available weekdays from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. (excluding most financial market holidays) and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central Time.
