What is Fit for Delivery?

Based on the latest research, Fit for Delivery is designed to provide you with comprehensive education to have a healthy pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum experience. The class will be taught by Boone’s highly specialized pelvic floor therapists, dietitians, and lactation consultants. The body goes through significant hormonal and structural changes during the pregnancy and postpartum time frame. This class will give you the tools you need to take care of your body so you are free to take care of the newest member of your family!

What will I learn?

Prenatal Exercise

Learn and practice safe ways to strengthen your body during pregnancy. Exercises will be provided at varying levels of intensity so you can choose what is right for you. You will practice proper core recruitment during pregnancy with guidance from a pelvic floor physical therapist. The focus of this session is to support a healthy pregnancy and decrease the likelihood of hip and low back pain.

You will be shown lots of positioning options for each phase of labor to make your childbirth journey as smooth as possible.
