Brady Dubois
Chief Executive Officer
Brady Dubois has over 16 years of healthcare leadership experience at the executive level. Most recently, he served as the CEO of Detroit Medical Center’s Adult Central Campus, a subsidiary of Tenet Health made up of three hospitals. Prior to that, Dubois served as CEO of Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana and was the President of Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri. Dubois also spent seven years serving at healthcare facilities with the United States Navy. He began his career as a recreational therapist.
Brady received his bachelor’s degree from Southwest Texas State University, and his MBA from the University of Houston-Victoria.
Chris Jones
Chief Operating Officer
Chris brings 35 years of health care experience to Boone Health, which began in the US Army Reserves where he served as an orthopedic technician. Chris has 20 years of experience in hospital leadership roles, having served as both COO and CEO at various facilities. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Chris is a native of central Missouri. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Health Science in Radiology/Computed Tomography and William Woods University with his MBA and MHA. Chris also spent four years as CEO of Moberly Regional Medical Center.
Ed Clayton
Chief Financial Officer
Edward J. Clayton, CPA, MBA joined Boone Health in August of 2022 as the Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to joining Boone, Ed served as the President and CEO of Phelps Health in Rolla, Mo., where he had previously served as Phelps Health Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Ed received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Southern Illinois University and his Master’s in Business Administration from Webster University in Rolla.
Lana Zerrer, MD
Chief Medical Officer
Before joining Boone Health in April 2025, Dr. Zerrer served as chief of staff at Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia for 15 years.
Additionally, she has been director of the Primary Care service line and a staff physician at Truman Veterans Hospital. She also has served on the national Veterans Administration Physician Advocacy Council, which ensures physicians have what they need, including staffing and technology, to provide the best care possible.
Dr. Zerrer holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Westminster and a medical degree from the University of Missouri, where she also completed her residency in Internal Medicine. Following her residency, she served in the Air Force Medical Corp, during which she was deployed to Kyrgyzstan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. She is board certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Shannon Kuczynski
Chief Nurse Executive
Shannon Kuczynski, MSN-A, MHSA, RN, NE-BC joined Boone Health in August of 2022 as the Chief Nurse Executive.
Shannon grew up in Columbia, attending David. H. Hickman High School before earning her degrees at the University of Kansas – Kansas City.
Shannon brings 28-years of nursing experience, 25 in leadership, having most recently served as Division Vice President, Service Lines and Division Chief Nursing Informatics Officer for Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) in Overland Park, Kansas. While there, Shannon specialized in workflow optimization and transforming data into usable knowledge.
Peter Gloggner
Chief Human Resources Officer
Peter Gloggner, SHRM-SCP returned to Boone Health in 2023 as the Chief Human Resources Officer.
Previously, Peter served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Calvert Health in Prince Frederick, Maryland. Prior to his time in Maryland, Peter served as the Chief Human Resource Officer at Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter, Florida. Peter received his Bachelor of Health Science in Health Services Management from the University of Missouri and his Master’s in Business Administration from William Woods University. Peter started his career as a Communications Supervisor and then Manager of Human Resources & Training at Boone Hospital Center.
Peter holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration for William Woods University and is a Senior Certified Professional – Society for Human Resource Management.
Ken Woodward
Chief Information Officer
Ken began his career at Boone Hospital Center in 1993, leading the implementation for the hospital’s first Electronic Medical Record (EMR). In 1999 he expanded his role to include management of desktop support, IT help desk, system integration, clinical applications and data center operations.
Ken has over 30 years of IT experience, the majority of which is in the health care industry. In addition to his work at Boone Hospital Center, Mr. Woodward has supported the installation of technology and clinical application solutions for multiple hospitals throughout the BJC HealthCare system. This included being selected to help lead the Epic EMR implementation for 14 hospitals and two medical groups within BJC.
Ken has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri.
Drew Wilkinson
Vice President, Provider and Ambulatory Operations
Drew has been with Boone Health since 2006, beginning his career in the Nutrition and Food Services department before transitioning to the Laboratory. Most recently, Drew expanded his role and served as the Director of Laboratory Services and Emergency Services. Drew was recognized as the Boone Health Leader of Year by his peers in 2020. Drew currently serves on the Boone Hospital Foundation Board.
Drew is a native of Columbia. He received his Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Missouri and his MBA from Columbia College.
Kate Pitzer
General Counsel
Kate Pitzer serves as Boone Health’s General Counsel and has been with the organization since 2011. Her responsibilities include oversight of all legal services, physician relationships, corporate governance and regulatory matters. Prior to joining Boone Health, Kate was a partner in the Van Matre Law Firm and worked for Robins Kaplan in Washington, D.C. and Spencer Fane in St. Louis. She holds double degrees in Music and Business from DePaul University in Chicago, and a Juris Doctor degree from the Washington University School of Law, 2001. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, Missouri Bar Association and Missouri Society of Health Care Attorneys, and was a Columbia Business Times “Top 20 Under 40” award winner, Class of 2009.
