The Learning Center
Boone Health's state of the art Learning Center is composed of simulation rooms, observation rooms, debriefing rooms and classrooms.
The four simulation rooms are set up as a typical patient room, including a HillRom bed, caregiver station, family support area, medical gas equipment and blood pressure cuff. Each room also contains a different manikin from Gaurmard:
- HAL - an adult simulator
- Pediatric HAL - a five-year-old child simulator
- VICTORIA - an advanced birthing simulator
- Newborn TROY - a full-term neonate simulator
The Learning Center was established with the development of the Stephens College Boone Health School of Nursing, but is available to all nursing students completing clinical education with Boone Health as well as the staff members of Boone Health.
